Masha Cohn, AIA, Project Architect

Masha Cohn is an experienced and licensed architect. With a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Houston and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Design & Architecture Studies from New York University, Masha brings a strong foundation in theory and analysis to her work. 

Though a minimalist at heart, Masha’s experience as an Associate at Peter Pennoyer Architects, gives her a strong foundation in both classical architecture and high-end residential design. Masha’s unique background includes hands-on experience with a Graduate Design-Build studio at the University of Houston, where she helped construct a steel modular entrance canopy for the Port of Houston.

Masha has extensive experience in leading projects from pre-design through construction administration, showcasing her ability to manage projects holistically. Since joining RJHA she has worked on a variety of projects from historical preservation to urban master-planning mixed-use developments. 

With an international school secondary education, and having moved from Moscow, Russia to Houston, TX at the age of 11, Masha brings a diverse perspective to architectural design rooted in her multi-cultural upbringing. Masha is Fluent in Russian and English and conversational in French and Spanish.
