Tyler Meyer is an Architectural Associate at R.J. Heisenbottle Architects, where he
contributes to the firm’s preservation, adaptive reuse, civic, and institutional work
throughout South Florida. With a background spanning architecture, urban design,
planning, zoning, and real estate development, Tyler brings a broad and practical
perspective to projects involving historic buildings, complex approvals, and sensitive
existing conditions.

Tyler’s experience includes design and construction documentation, project
coordination, zoning and code analysis, municipal approvals, Historic Preservation
Board submissions, construction detailing, and construction administration. He works
closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and public agencies to help guide projects
from early analysis and feasibility through permitting, documentation, and construction-
phase execution.

His work is informed by both design sensitivity and an understanding of how projects
move through approval, budget, constructability, and implementation. This allows him to
contribute across multiple phases of a project while helping maintain the integrity of the
design intent and the long-term value of the built environment.

Tyler holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Real Estate Development +
Urbanism from the University of Miami. His combined architectural and development
background supports a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to preservation, adaptive
reuse, and the stewardship of historic buildings.
