Fulford Elementary School
The design challenge of this renovation and expansion project was to make the existing three buildings totaling 29,000 square feet and the new 39,725 square foot addition look like one cohesive building, as well as, fit on a very tight site. This was accomplished by relocating the main entrance and connecting the new building to the existing building at two locations thus creating a new central courtyard. The complete rehabilitation of the remaining structures included new interior partitions, ceilings, floors, roofing, paint and mechanical/electrical systems compatible with the new portion of the school.
